The challenge
At Delphia Consulting I look after multiple brands under one umbrella: the consulting brand itself, plus software brands like miviva and TimeStar. Each one reaches a different audience and serves a different purpose, so each needed its own standards built around what it does best.
What I did
Brand management at Delphia Consulting comes down to three things: building new identities, keeping every brand consistent, and helping each one evolve over time.
Building new identities
A brand is more than a logo. For miviva, I built the whole system, from the illustrated characters to icons, forms, and the small details in between, and documented all of it in the brand guide so it stays consistent no matter who's making the piece or how many years go by.
Staying consistent
Each brand has its own standards, from color and type to icons, forms, and illustration. When I review the team's work, I check it against those standards instead of my own taste, which keeps feedback quick and fair.
Always evolving
I've looked after the Delphia Consulting brands for eight years, updating its colors and print standards and refining the logo along the way. That work carried through a long run of direct mail postcards I designed and wrote. As 2020 changed the way many people worked, we shifted into weekly webinars, podcasts, and social media.
The result
Brands that each look like themselves, whether it's a consulting service, a software subscription, or a boxed product. Alongside the brand guides, I create templates and sales materials that help our sales team hit their goals, so every brand shows up the same way in front of every customer.
